What Is The Netflix Password Sharing Fee?
Netflix Password Sharing Fee is the additional cost that the company is planning to implement on users that share their passwords with viewers outside their household. This will be a sort of add-on mini membership within their Netflix Subscription. For now, the feature is going in its trial phase in three countries over the next few weeks: Chile, Costa Rica, and Peru. It is not yet announced when the feature will be carried out worldwide. Netflix has announced that viewers in Chile, Costa Rica, and Peru will soon be able to add a sub-account to their subscription for two people outside of their household. These subaccounts will have their own profile, personalized recommendations, login, and password. In Chile, it will cost viewers 2,380 CLP to create a sub-account.
